Elizabeth Suarez

Elizabeth Suarez currently serves as assistant to Tanya Saracho,

Before segueing into the entertainment industry, she worked as a TV reporter. Deep in the hollers of Appalachia, Elizabeth honed her story-telling skills by researching, interviewing and reporting on the critical issues that impact the region. She cut her teeth covering it all from reporting live at the scene of a mine rescue mission to covering a state-wide teacher strike in West Virginia.

Passionate about telling the stories of people who are often overlooked, Elizabeth’s goal is to continue telling stories that inspire marginalized people, especially the Latine community, on the TV and silver screens.

Prior to joining the Ojalá team, she worked as a production assistant on TV shows including “Brooklyn Nine-Nine,” “Grand Crew” and “Physical” and films The Batman and White Noise

Elizabeth was fortunate enough to work with the late news legend Gwen Ifill on the set of PBS NewsHour during the 2016 RNC. During this experience she assisted Gwen personally and served as a production assistant during broadcasts.

In college, she also interned at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in her hometown of Cleveland, creating content in the spirit of their mission “to engage, teach and inspire through the power of rock & roll.”
